This dress is crafted from a naturally dyed fabric that requires special care to maintain its colour and shape.
Shrinkage:
- This fabric will shrink after washing — this is a normal characteristic of the material
- Depending on washing method, length may reduce by 5–10 cm. For a relaxed, oversized fit, we recommend sizing up.
- Please refer to the size guide and select accordingly, accounting for your personal washing habits
Colour:
- Deeper colourways may release excess dye during the first wash — this is completely normal
- First wash: Use cool water only. Add a small amount of salt to help set the colour. Do not use hot water or detergent on the first wash
- After the first wash, colour will stabilise and fading will not recur
Washing Rules:
- ✅ Hand wash in cool water — recommended
- ✅ Add salt to first wash to fix colour
- ❌ No machine washing (if unavoidable, use a laundry bag on gentle cycle)
